About Making Music

The importance of learning music dates back to ancient Greece. In those days, the historic record indicates students focused on three principal subject areas: religion, which covered everything spiritual and supernatural; mathematics, which covered everything physical, temporal and material; and music, which was the synthesis of the two.

Indeed, music, my lifelong passion, has been the earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars for me, and I invite you to explore this fascinating world.

By studying the piano, you’ll

  • Improve concentration

  • Enhance neural brain pathways

  • Increase problem-solving skills

  • Develop fine motor skills

  • Explore new music

  • Experience the deep satisfaction that comes from the joy of music making with your own two hands, and – not to mention, your heart and mind.
